To gain XP fast, kill many things, and do not die.

LEVEL HUNTING TIP

From levels 20-32, there is excellent solo hunting in Lake of Ill Omen, directly over the hill from the Frontier Mountains zone.  Try to go for the Sabertooth Grimalkins (easy) and try to avoid Iksar Pariah and Iksar Exile (tough for their level).

From levels 44-46, the Tundra Yeti's in the Dreadlands are an extremely easy kill for good XP.  There is a cave full of them which can be solo-pulled at these levels, located in the Northwest portion of the 'main part' (read: not TP area) section of the zone.

From levels 19-22, the Hermit in South Karana has a spawnrate of 3 minutes, so you can be assured of a constant, steady source of good XP when you get this spot.

From level 22 to 24, Aviak Guards in Lake Rathetear provide awesome XP.  They're tough for their level, but the XP is appropriate to their toughness.  (Grrump's note:  For twinks, the Flame has 3 spawns up top that can rocket you through your early 20s)

From levels 29 to 37, Dalnir's Crypt has a great selection of mobs.  Also, the loot here is incredible for the level.  Monks love it because of Crescent Armor and Fighting Batons, so it's never tough to get a pet puller.

STAYING ALIVE TIP

If you're having connection problems, stay away from Overthere at night (for you good races).  Dark Elven dragoons patrol the joint, and have been known to gank a few sleepy travellers.
